
ABOUT
JEEVADAN
Jeevadan is a care and support centre for living with HIV/AIDS. We, the daughters of St. Camillus started Jeevadan Palliative Care Centre, on Feb 2nd 2004 to provide care and support for HIV/AIDS infected abandoned women and orphan children. We have facilities to accommodate 50 residents at a time. The centre has facilities for treatment, nutrition, medical care, nursing care, counselling, educational care, vocational training etc.

To promote wellbeing and quality of life by providing care, support, motivation and rehabilitation as well as ensuring a sense of confidence and acceptance while providing palliative care for those who are in the end stages of the disease.

A sincere effort to help victims live with dignity and decency.


Objectives
- To provide residential care for terminally ill AIDS patients and abandoned HIV/AIDS women and children.
- To enable HIV/AIDS infected women and children to regain health, confidence and dignity to include them in their family and society, through counseling services and skill development/self-employment programmes.
- To facilitate the prevention of HIV/AIDS and community care of HIV/AIDS patients by educating and creating awareness among the residents about HIV/AIDS.
- School education for children.
